While braces are a tried and true way to align your teeth and bite and have been around for quite a while, the treatment has experienced major updates thanks to all sorts of innovations in the field. Robots are even involved and it doesn’t get much more cutting-edge than that! With streamlined, speedy self-ligating braces combined with the high-tech SureSmile® system, we have options to suit any grin.
Self-Ligating Metal Braces
It wasn’t too long ago that having metal braces meant sporting gleaming, bulky hardware. Aside from the aesthetic concerns, the treatment also relied on elastic bands or metal ties to apply pressure to the teeth. The friction wasn’t exactly comfortable. Well, those days are gone. We use In-Ovation® R metal braces, which are smaller, more attractive self-ligating braces. Instead of ties or elastics, the system utilizes free-sliding technology to guide teeth gently into place with little to no pressure. In-Ovation® self-ligating metal braces work more quickly than standard braces and without the associated discomfort.
Self-Ligating Clear Braces
We offer state-of-the-art In-Ovation® C ceramic braces. They’re crafted from a translucent material so they blend in with your smile, making them much less noticeable. Unlike older versions, these clear braces won’t stain! They work in the same way as their metal counterparts by utilizing free-sliding technology to shift teeth gently into place without elastics or metal ties. There’s little to no pressure on your teeth and you can achieve your new smile in less time than you would with traditional braces. Patients often choose clear braces when they want an aesthetic option.
We combine our self-ligating braces with SureSmile®. We create a 3D scan of your mouth so we can better visualize potential treatment outcomes and design the perfect smile based on your real dental and facial features and anatomy. Once we have a plan, SureSmile® gives the information to robots that bend the archwires to Dr. Ibrahim’s exact specifications. No more tweaking or guessing. Wires are the precise fit, producing the best patient finishes in the least amount of time.
