Invisalign Treatment

Invisalign treatment always starts with a free consultation. At this visit, a team member will take complimentary digital x-rays and photos of your teeth and face.

One of our talented orthodontists will use this information, along with their findings from your exam, to come up with a diagnosis. Thanks to the skills and experience of our providers, most patients are candidates for Invisalign at our office.

Of course, we’ll also discuss your goals, what you can expect, and the cost before answering any and all of your questions. With our iTero® digital scanner, we’ll use the Invisalign Outcome Simulator to show you what your new smile will look like before you even begin straightening your teeth.

For your convenience, we can start treatment on the same day as your consultation, allowing you to avoid making another trip to our office.

We don’t just use our iTero scanner to give you a glimpse into the appearance of your future smile. We also use it to take high-quality images of your teeth, gums and jaws. The technology is way more comfortable than the old putty and tray impressions.

We input the information into a computer program and a 3D model of your mouth is created. Your orthodontist will map out your tooth movements directly on the model for an extremely accurate Invisalign treatment plan.

Invisalign® will produce a series of custom-made, clear aligners based on the orthodontist’s specifications. You’ll wear the aligners for 20 to 22 hours every day, taking them out to eat and brush and floss your teeth. The number of aligners you’ll need for optimal results will depend on your specific case.

The schedule for changing aligners varies by patient. However, instead of wearing each of your aligners for two to three weeks, we offer acceleration devices that can have you switching every three to seven days. The aligners have programmed movements, so when you go to the next one, you can watch the magic happen as your teeth move into that tray.

Invisalign doesn’t require adjustments, but you will come in approximately every eight weeks so we can monitor your progress.

Woohoo! When you take out that final set of aligners, you’ll have straight teeth and a beautiful smile. While the active phase of your Invisalign treatment will be finished, you’ll start the retention phase. We’ll fit you for a clear Vivera® retainer to hold your teeth in their new position and maintain your results for life.
